Compact Reversible Faux-Fur Heated Throw with a Preheat Cycle
A throw and a bed blanket are used in opposite ways. The blanket runs all night on a timer nobody watches; the throw runs for forty minutes on a sofa and is judged almost entirely on how quickly it feels warm. This compact throw is specified around that short session rather than scaled down from a bed model: a preheat ramp, a shut-off clock whose start point is written down, and an element routed away from the places a seated body folds the fabric.
- Compact sofa format, reference 75 × 120 cm, sized to stay on a lap rather than cover a bed
- Optional preheat cycle: full duty first, then a step down to the level the user selected
- Shut-off clock start point fixed in the firmware specification instead of left to interpretation
- Element routed clear of fold lines and seating creases, where a crease becomes a hot spot
- Controller and cord detach before washing, in the order printed on the care label

Product attributes
| Format | Compact throw for sofa, armchair and lap use; reference 75 × 120 cm, custom dimensions on request |
|---|---|
| Fabric | High-pile faux-fur face with a short plush reverse and a bound edge; other pile qualities and face weights on request |
| Heating element | Distributed low-density element, routed away from fold lines and seating creases so a bunched panel does not concentrate heat |
| Preheat cycle | Optional full-duty preheat interval followed by a step down to the selected level; interval length set per model and confirmed on the sample |
| Preheat end behaviour | Single step or two-step settle to the selected level, with the indicator state defined for each stage so the change does not read as a power loss |
| Heat levels | Three labelled levels as standard, each with its own warmth description in the setting table; other level counts on request |
| Controller | Detachable inline controller with a rotary dial plus a separate preheat button, so the two actions are not combined on one control |
| Timer start point | Documented in the firmware specification: the shut-off clock starts either at the preheat press or when the selected level is reached, and the choice is printed on the label |
| Automatic shut-off | Short-session interval as standard for the throw format; longer windows available for programmes that also sell the throw as an overnight product |
| Overheat protection | Active sensor control plus an independent non-resettable thermal cut-out |
| Cord | Short cord measured from the blanket edge, with a moulded strain-relief boot at both the blanket end and the controller end |
| Cord routing | Exit point placed clear of fold lines and seating creases, and positioned so the controller can rest on a sofa arm rather than the floor |
| Washability | Controller and cord detach before washing; wash and dry programmes stated on the care label, with drying limits for the pile face |
| Care label | Supplied in the destination market's language, covering the removal order, wash programme, drying limits and storage |
| Sizes | Reference compact throw size and custom dimensions to your brief |
| Colour & branding | Custom pile colour, bound edge colour, woven labels and retail packaging |
| Packing | Fold pattern, carton dimensions and compressed height confirmed on the sample; retail packaging format agreed with the buyer |
| Instruction sheet | Covers preheat behaviour, the timer start point, the level table, washing and drying limits, storage and the conditions to avoid |
| Batch traceability | Batch or lot marking linked to element, controller and cord set records |
| Change control | No electrical or firmware substitution without re-assessment and written approval |
| Testing & documentation | Assessment supported on the finished article for the destination market's scope; the applicable marking set is confirmed per order and per market |
| OEM / ODM | Custom dimensions, pile, level count, preheat interval, controller layout, branding and retail packaging |
| MOQ | From 100 units per SKU |
| Sample lead time | 3–5 days |
| Bulk lead time | 7–10 days |
Final specifications are confirmed on the quotation. Dimensions, preheat interval, timer window, level count and packing format are set per model and market.
